About Energy Healing
Everything is energy. Science tells us that all matter is made of atoms that are vibrating at different frequencies. Energy healing works with the subtle energy fields and systems in and around the body to create equilibrium and balance.
Consistent practice of energy healing can release energetic blocks, heal areas in need of repair, reestablish the proper flow of energy through the body, release old energy, bring in balance to the energetic system, bring more light into the body to raise one’s energetic frequency or “vibe”, promote relaxation and feelings of peace, and allows for physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. Both modalities of sound healing and reiki are forms of energy healing.
What is Sound Healing?
Sound healing is an ancient practice used around the world for centuries that uses sounds, frequencies, and vibrations to help relax the nervous system, restore, and align the body from dis-ease into harmony. It is based off the principle that every cell within our body vibrates at a certain frequency. When healthy and in harmony, our cells vibrate to a very specific frequency, and when in disease, our cells vibrate at a dissonant frequency meaning they lacks harmony with the body.
My goal as the sound healer is to support in bringing a change to your body at a cellular and energetic level to assist in the body’s natural healing process. The sounds and frequencies that are produced from the crystal bowls and other instruments help to shift the body from the sympathetic nervous system (where fight or flight resides) to the parasympathetic nervous system (where “rest and digest” occurs) and helps move the brain from active brain waves (like gamma and beta) into non active brain waves (like alpha, theta, and even delta). It is through rest & digest as well as the non-active brain waves, where our bodies naturally restore and regenerate (think of the restoration and regeneration process of when we sleep).
Benefits of sound healing include nervous system relaxation, deeper meditative states, soothing and purifying emotions, stress reduction, circulation, and regeneration, removing blockages of stuck or stagnant energy, and improvement of overall well-being.

Reiki is a gentle form of energy healing that helps relieve dissonance in the body, mind, and spirit through universal life force energy to promote harmony and alignment while connecting us closer to our core self.

Reiki promotes stress reduction, increases relaxation, removes blockages in our energetic body, increases the supply of life energy, and assists in the bodies own natural healing process.
The awareness that an unseen energy flows within us and around us and directly affects the quality of a person’s health, has been part of the wisdom of many cultures since ancient times. This energy goes by many different names. For example, In China is it called qi, in Japan it is ki, in India it is prana, and science refers to it as Biofield energy.
Life force energy sustains us by supporting the body to vibrate in a constant state of flow, balance, and alignment. If we are not aligned and are disconnected from the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of our being, this can manifest as illness or dis-ease.
When our life energy is low, we are more prone to stress and illness but when our life energy is strong, it is easier to manage stress and less likely to become sick. Reiki helps to increase a person’s supply of life energy to promote harmony and alignment within the body, mind, and spirit.
Reiki is administered through the hands of the Reiki practitioner. Through touch or non-touch reiki, the practitioner gives this healing energy to certain areas of pain, blockages, our energetic body (the chakras), and the layers of our auric field. Reiki is an intelligent energy that can move through all parts of the human energy field to break through energetic blockages and promote healing. Reiki is gentle, loving, intelligent, and knows where to go and where to flow.
